Receive personalized healthcare from home
With telemedicine, visit a UW Medicine provider like you would in person for primary, urgent and specialty care — by secure video instead. You’ll receive the same personalized medical care as you would in a face-to-face visit.
UW Medicine telemedicine visits are safe, private, and secure, and are a covered benefit for most insurance plans (double-check with your health insurer). And our UW Medicine interpreter services are available.

Scheduling your telemedicine visit
Call 206.520.5100 to schedule a telemedicine visit with your UW Medicine doctor during regular business hours.
Book online in MyChart (available at most locations). You can also sign up for a MyChart account.
Preparing for your telemedicine visit
When it is time for your appointment to begin, use the “Begin Video Visit” button in your MyChart account. If you don’t have a MyChart account, you’ll be sent a link for your appointment. Simply click on the link to start your visit.
During the visit you’ll talk about your current health concerns. A member of your care team may review patient consent forms with you if necessary. To prepare, follow these instructions on how to use Zoom.
