Our team of virtual primary care providers offer you and your family a new way to receive quick, on-demand care. We can address many common health conditions, including acute illnesses and primary care needs, when you are unable to see your primary care provider or do not have one.

Same-day virtual primary care services are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, 363 days a year (closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas) from anywhere in Washington state.

Can I get virtual primary care if I am outside of Washington state?

Because of state licensing laws, our providers may not be able to see you via on-demand video visit or scheduled telemedicine visit if you are outside of Washington state. Please contact your care team by phone or through MyChart messaging if you have questions about your upcoming appointments.

Is my insurance accepted?

UW Medicine accepts most major insurance plans. Lopez Island residents with Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW) and LifeWise insurance are only contracted for visits (in-person and telemedicine visits) with our providers on Lopez Island. These patients can still use Virtual Primary Care services as self-pay patients. All patients should verify their insurance coverage before completing a visit.
