About Robert D. Harrington
Robert Harrington, M.D., is a board-certified physician at the Madison and Infectious Disease and Travel Clinics at Harborview and a UW professor of Medicine and Allergy and Infectious Diseases. He is also the medical director of the Madison Clinic and the UW CFAR Clinical Research Core and HIV Specimen Repository, and associate section chief of Infectious Diseases at Harborview.
Dr. Harrington strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Harrington earned his M.D. at Tufts University. He is board-certified in both Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine. He is a recipient of the Beeson award for house staff teaching. His interests are in general infectious diseases, clinical HIV and translational HIV research. He's published over 50 manuscripts and book chapters on HIV and infectious diseases.
