About Jason D. Simmons

Jason Simmons, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified physician at the UW Medical Center Infectious Diseases Clinic and the Madison Clinic at Harborview and a UW senior fellow of Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Simmons is dedicated to providing patients medical knowledge such that they can make informed decisions about their medical care.

Dr. Simmons earned his M.D. and Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. His research interests involve the immune response to tuberculosis. Clinically, his interests encompass treatment of a broad range of infections as well as providing primary care of persons living with HIV.
