Comprehensive cardiac care

The UW Medicine Heart Institute Mountlake Terrace is just off of Ballinger Way and offers comprehensive care for the full range of heart health and cardiac disease prevention needs. Patients receive consultation and medical care for coronary heart disease, arrhythmias, valve disease and hypertension (high blood pressure), as well as diagnostic services including ECG, echocardiography and stress testing, cardiac risk assessment and ongoing cardiac care.

We also provide direct access to specialized cardiovascular services at UW Medical Center's for patients who require advanced procedures or complex surgeries.

Medical advice is available by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Use MyChart to message your care team any time, or you may call your clinic during business hours, and you'll receive a call back within a day. When the clinic is closed, you'll reach an after-hours consulting nurse service.

We offer telemedicine visits that are by secure video using a mobile device, tablet or computer for general consultation services. Established patients can request a telemedicine visit by calling the clinic during business hours or logging in to your MyChart account to book online.

The Mountlake Terrace location is off of Ballinger Way and conveniently located just off I-5 between Shoreline and Lynnwood. You'll also have access to UW Medicine Primary Care onsite.

From Northbound I-5  

  • Take exit 177 toward Edmonds 
  • Turn left, follow signs for 244th St. SW 
  • Turn left onto 244th St. SW 
  • Use the left two lanes to turn left onto Van Ry Blvd. 
  • Take the first left into the parking lot 

From Southbound I-5  

  • Take Exit 177, head right on the ramp for WA-104 toward Edmonds / Lake Forest Park 
  • Bear left, then turn left onto WA-104 NE 205th St. 
  • Use the left lane to turn onto 244th St. SW  
  • Use the left two lanes to turn left onto Van Ry Blvd. 
  • Take the first left into the parking lot
