About Yolanda D. Tseng
Yolanda Tseng, M.D., is a board certified radiation oncologist at UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Tseng feels privileged to work as part of a team to provide the best care for patients, and she is impressed by their strength during a stressful and uncertain period of their lives. The care her team provides—clinical, emotional, and personal—is for her one of the most gratifying aspects of being an oncologist.
Dr. Tseng earned her M.D. from Harvard. Her research interests include how physicians estimate patient prognosis and its effects on treatment decisions, and how tumor biological subtypes affect patient outcomes and the response to local therapy. She is also interested in systematically evaluating how proton radiotherapy can be used to optimize patient care.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Tseng enjoys running, cooking and baking.
