About Wayne L. Monsky
Wayne Monsky, M.D., Ph.D. is a board certified physician, director of Interventional Radiology at Harborview and a UW associate professor of Radiology.
Dr. Monsky strives to provide the most advanced techniques while providing personalized, compassionate care. He believes it is most important to focus on the patient's comfort and understanding of therapies.
Dr. Monsky earned his M.D. and Ph.D. from Georgetown University. He is a fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology. He served on committees in professional societies including the American Association for Cancer Research and on multiple research journal editorial boards.
Dr. Monsky conducts research on novel approaches to treat solid malignancies, remove blood clots and the use of advanced ultrasound techniques to diagnose and treat diseases. He has been integral to the development of a number of state-of-the-art novel medical devices.

In his free time Dr. Monsky enjoys cooking and outdoor activities.
