About Vanessa J. Loland
Vanessa Loland, M.D., is a board certified anesthesiologist, director of Regional Anesthesia and fellowships at UW Medical Center and a UW professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and associate director for UW Medicine's Anesthesiology residency.
Dr. Loland is very involved in education of anesthesiology residents and fellows, has enjoyed being a part of many clinical research projects and has lectured throughout the country on peripheral nerve blocks. She strives to give each patient a warm, comfortable experience in their perioperative period.
Dr. Loland earned her M.D. at New York Medical College. Her research has included publishing 36 refereed articles since 2008, most related to her subspecialty of regional anesthesia and pain medicine.
