About Sina Aliasghar Gharib

Sina Gharib, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Chest Clinic and Sleep Medicine Center at Harborview and a UW professor of Medicine and Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Gharib believes that quality sleep is essential to our lives and livelihood. He believes in helping each patient develop an individualized plan to achieve this aim. He also enjoys working with medical students and giving talks on various sleep problems to healthcare professionals.

Dr. Gharib earned his M.D. from Harvard. He is triple board certified in Sleep Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. His clinical and research interests include all aspects of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia and sleep apnea associated with chronic medical conditions, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and heart failure.
