About Sheldon N. Rosen
Sheldon Rosen, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Digestive Health Center at UWMC and a UW associate professor of Medicine.
Fulfilling the patient’s need is always Dr. Rosen’s main practice goal. He tries to listen carefully and communicate clearly, always sensitive to the patient’s individuality. He finds patience, persistence and compassion are essential factors in achieving success.
Dr. Rosen earned his M.D. at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is experienced in the clinical management of a wide variety of gastroenterological diseases and has a special interest in cyclic vomiting syndrome and other causes of recurrent vomiting. In the past he has participated in research involving both Barrett’s esophagus and irritable bowel syndrome.
Personal Interests
In his spare time Dr. Rosen enjoys playing violin and fiddle for classical and popular music, model wooden ship building, amateur astronomy and swimming.
