Shannon Zhang, MD, is a pediatrics resident. She grew up in Irvine, CA, where she spent her childhood biking the suburbs and lightsaber-battling her brother. Despite her love for warm weather and sandy beaches, Dr. Zhang decided to embark on a tour of the US after high school. She began her tour in snowy Connecticut at Yale, where she received her undergraduate degree. Then, she continued to the artic tundra (aka Chicago) to get her medical degree and has finally ended up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
