Dr. Shanece Washington serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Chief of Audiology at the University of Washington, joining the department in 2024. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a Clinical Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Washington, as well as a Master of Public Health degree with a Certificate of Applied Epidemiology from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Washington believes in a collaborative approach to patient care, prioritizing health equity and informed decision-making. Her goal is to provide comprehensive, personalized care that empowers patients to maintain their hearing health and enjoy their daily activities.

Dr. Washington’s clinical expertise includes diagnostic audiology and balance evaluations, tinnitus assessments, hearing aid fittings, and cochlear implant candidacy evaluations and support. She also specializes in managing occupational hearing conservation programs and addressing complex auditory and balance disorders.
