About Satish Bhagwanjee
Satish Bhagwanjee, M.D., is an anesthesiologist at UW Medical Center and a UW professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and adjunct professor of Global Health.
Dr. Bhagwanjee believes his patients have a unique opportunity to work together with him to improve their lives in a way that is most important to each patient. Quality care is his number one goal, and he relishes the opportunity to make the lives of others better.
Dr. Bhagwanjee earned his M.D. at the University of Natal in South Africa. He is a fellow of the College of Critical Care Medicine and is associate director of the U.S. Critical Illness and Injury Trial Group. In the past he has served as a committee member and secretary general of the World Federation of Societies of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Bhagwanjee enjoys tennis, guitar playing and dancing.
