Dr. Drescher is originally from Olympia, WA and went to college at UW; for graduate school, she moved to Switzerland to get a master's studying HIV resistance transmission.

Outside of work, Dr. Drescher likes traveling, spending time outdoors, and learning languages. She has two young children at home.
