About Sanjay M. Bhananker
Sanjay Bhananker, M.D., F.R.C.A., is the clinical lead for Pediatric Anesthesia and Regional Anesthesia at Harborview Medical Center and a UW professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Bhananker believes in a team-based preoperative care model. He strives to involve his trainees, surgeons, nurses, patient and family members in providing medical care to achieve optimal postoperative outcome.
Dr. Bhananker’s areas of particular interest and expertise include pediatric trauma, pediatric burns and regional anesthesia for adults and children. His clinical interests include ultrasound guided regional anesthesia, postoperative analgesia (pain relief), early recovery after surgery and pediatric trauma including burns.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Bhananker enjoys running, time with family and cricket.
