Dr. Underwood was the best provider I've had at UW Medicine. She took time to explain everything I needed to know about my condition and answered questions without me even needing to ask. I could tell she truly cared about me and my needs.

*Dr. Underwood has been respectful; meets me at my understanding of my disease/health rather than talking down to me, and most importantly has allowed me to participate in the conversation around my treatment plan and goals. She also gives thoughtful and pertinent questions to help her develop ideas.

I can't express enough the appreciation I have for Dr. Underwood. She is the first provider I have had at UW who listens to me. I have never been through so many providers due to the lack of bedside manner and/or lack of knowledge in basic healthcare.
