Dr. Pamela Mallari-Ramos, MD, is an interventional radiologist and a clinical assistant professor in interventional radiology at the UW School of Medicine.  She feels very privileged to provide care for the diverse UW community of patients.

Dr. Mallari is an Army veteran who retired after serving 24 years in the US Army Medical Corps. She earned a B.A. in molecular and cellular biology with honors at the University of California at Berkeley in 1994 and an M.D. from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland in 1999.  She completed a surgical internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI in 2000. 

Thereafter, she served as an Army flight surgeon in South Korea and in Hawaii prior to completing a diagnostic radiology residency program at Tripler Army Medical Center, HI in 2008.  She went on to complete a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of California at San Francisco in 2010. She was the section chief in IR at Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis McChord prior to joining the UW faculty in August 2019. 

Dr. Mallari-Ramos is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with a dual certificate in interventional radiology/diagnostic radiology.  She is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and of the Radiologic Society of North America.
