Nicole White, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon and Section Head of General Surgery at UW Medical Center – Northwest, Clinical Chief of UW Medicine’s Surgical Services and Hernia Center, Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery, and Co-Chair of the Robotic Steering Committee. Dr. White has been listed as a “Seattle Top Doctor” multiple times and received accreditation as a Surgeon of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC).
Dr. White specializes in robotic general surgery and has performed over 1,000 cases. She conducts comprehensive evaluations of surgical issues with minimally invasive options. Her clinical areas of expertise include general surgery, hernia surgery, esophageal surgery and colorectal surgery. Dr. White strives to provide an unsurpassed level of care and to make each patient’s experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Her office is a sacred place where she gets to know each patient and understand their story to best manage their care and recovery.
Dr. White’s research focuses on quality outcomes, being a part of the American Hernia Quality Collaborative Database, and is recognized on a national level for robotics and hernias. She graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from George Washington University in Washington D.C, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, the American Hernia Society, and on the Board of Seattle Surgical Society.
Dr. White enjoys travel, art, skiing, and spending time with her dog, friends and family.
