Nicole C. Ahrenholz, M.D. is an attending physician at Harborview's International Medicine Clinic and a clinical assistant professor at the UW School of Medicine. She divides her time between seeing patients and teaching medical residents in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Dr. Ahrenholz completed her bachelor's degree with honors from the University of Washington. She earned her M.D. from Oregon Health & Science University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.  She returned to UW for her internship and residency in internal medicine, before joining the faculty in 2009.  She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Ahrenholz's clinical interests include immigrant and refugee health. In addition, Dr. Ahrenholz provides medical consultations for survivors of torture through Northwest Health and Human Rights. She feels very fortunate to work with a diverse population of immigrants and refugees in Harborview's International Medicine Clinic. Her favorite part of primary care is building long-term relationships with patients and their family members.
