About Michael A. Chen
Michael A. Chen, MD, PhD is a board certified physician at the Cardiology Clinic at Harborview and a UW associate professor of Medicine and Cardiology.
Dr. Chen has special expertise in treating older patients with cardiovascular disease. He takes pleasure in helping patients manage and prevent the complications of cardiovascular disease. He particularly enjoys assisting them in meeting their functional goals.
Dr. Chen earned his MD and PhD at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His clinical interests include geriatric cardiology and psychological effects of heart disease.
Personal Interests
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Chen enjoys snowboarding, hiking, running, traveling and good food.
