Melissa Upson, P.A.-C., is a board certified physician assistant at UW Medical Center and a UW teaching associate of Cardiac Surgery.

Upson is dedicated to empowering her patients by providing them with knowledge about their bodies and health, so they may lead a fulfilling life. By doing she strives to work with them as a team toward a common goal.

Upson received her medical education at Daemen College, Amherst, New York. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her clinical interests include coronary artery disease, heart valve disease and heart failure. Her research interests include valvular heart disease.
