About May J. Reed
May Reed, M.D., F.A.C.P., is a board certified physician and medical director of the Senior Care Clinic at Harborview Medical Center. She is also a UW associate professor of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine.
Dr. Reed's favorite aspect of being a primary care provider is helping older adults to stay active, which is one of the keys to aging successfully.
Dr. Reed's research interests include wound repair, vascular biology and the effects of the extracellular environment on tissue repair in aging.
Personal Interests
In her free time, Dr. Reed enjoys outdoor activities, all sporting events and keeping up with three young adult children and four pets.
