Lauren Wrisley, BSN, MSN, ACNP-BC, is an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) at the UW Medical Center - Montlake. Lauren has been an ARNP for over 10 years and has worked with surgical patients all across the illness spectrum.

Lauren’s training specialized in Acute Care, and she has clinical experience in the fields of orthopedic trauma, trauma and surgical critical care, general surgery, and minimally invasive surgery. She currently specializes in the post-operative surgical care of patients that have recently undergone esophagectomies, fundoplications, hernia repairs, and bariatric surgery. She works with these patients from admission to the hospital and continues to see them after discharge to help ensure the best possible outcome from their operation. She works closely with surgical residents during their training, and also has several years of experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate level nursing students.
