Lauren Puryear, M.S., L.G.C. is a board certified genetic counselor at the Genetic Medicine Clinic at UW Medical Center.

Puryear provides genetic counseling to patients referred to the clinic for a variety of conditions including inherited cancer syndromes. She strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Puryear earned her M.S. from Stanford. Her clinical and research interests include inherited cancer risk syndromes, other hereditary conditions, patient-directed, family-centered care and genetics in personalized medicine.
