About Kristen Lindgren
Kristen Lindgren, Ph.D., is a board certified psychologist at the Psychiatry Clinic at UWMC Roosevelt, associate director of UW Trauma Recovery Innovations Program and a UW associate professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Lindgren is expert in cognitive behavioral therapy and in cognitive factors that underlie hazardous drinking and trauma exposure. She is committed to providing evidence-based treatments and teaching skills to patients that can help them improve their lives.
Dr. Lindgren earned her Ph.D. from UW. Her clinical interests include cognitive behavioral therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression. Her research interests include young adult alcohol use, post-traumatic stress disorder and adapting therapy for low-resource settings.
Personal Interests
In addition to helping her patients, Dr. Lindgren enjoys running, swimming, hiking, cooking and spending time with her family.
