About Kimberly S. Esham
Kimberly S. Esham, M.D., M.S. is a board-certified hematologist who specializes in diseases of the blood, spleen and lymph. She treats conditions such as anemia, bleeding and clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, leukemia and lymphoma. Dr. Esham also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer as well as other types of benign and malignant tumors.
Dr. Esham earned her M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine and her M.S. from Tufts University Sackler School of Biomedical Science. Her research interests are in health disparities, outcomes research and improving quality of life.
Her practice is built on compassion, communication and trustworthiness. Dr. Esham prides herself in being approachable and accessible. She believes the right plan of care must acknowledge that there is a person behind the medical condition. Dr. Esham enjoys getting to know her patients and families in order to provide personalized care that fits within their values and goals.
