About Kathryn W. Weaver
Kate Weaver, M.D., is the medical co-director of the AHEAD (Achieving Health in Emerging Adults with Diabetes) Program, a multidisciplinary program focusing on caring for young adults with diabetes. She sees patients throughout UW Medicine, including the UW Medicine Diabetes Institute at South Lake Union, the Pituitary Program at UW-Montlake, and the Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic at Harborview. She is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine.
Dr. Weaver aims to provide the best possible care to her patients and recognizes that each person requires a tailored approach to care. She is passionate about improving the lives of individuals with diabetes, especially through new technologies.
Dr. Weaver's clinical interests include pituitary disorders, thyroid problems, adrenal pathology, and diabetes mellitus, especially in the young adult population.

Dr. Weaver spends time with her children and family in the area in her free time.
