Judith Turner, Ph.D., is a psychologist at the Center for Pain Relief at UWMC-Roosevelt and a UW professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Rehabilitation Medicine.

Dr. Turner provides psychological evaluations of patients with chronic pain, and cognitive-behavioral therapy to improve patients’ psychological distress, pain-related functional limitations, and their ability to self-manage chronic pain and associated problems. She believes in collaborating with patients to help them learn more effective ways for managing challenging health problems and improving their quality of life.

Dr. Turner earned her Ph.D. at UCLA. Her clinical interests include all types of chronic pain. Her research interests include chronic pain’s psychosocial aspects.
