Really wonderful interactions. No wasted time having long discussions about alternatives already tried or talked through with my PCP. Felt nice not to be talked into trying alternatives that don't work and be able to move straight to options that will work. Such a warm friendly Dr I felt very open to speak freely about concerns and ask questions without feeling as though I'm annoying the Dr asking stupid questions. Every question I had felt important and valid due to the Dr and her bedside manner.

About Joy Kai-Yang Zia

Joy Zia, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who provides a complete range of obstetrical and gynecologic services for women from adolescence through menopause. Dr. Zia believes in listening to her patients and getting to know each person as a whole so she can best help them navigate through choices regarding their health and well being.

Dr. Zia's is devoted to guiding patients through pregnancy and postpartum. She also has a strong interest in performing minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries including laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometrial fibroid and polyp removals, and endometrial ablation. Dr.Zia is also passionate about helping patients with contraception and family planning.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Dr. Zia enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors with her family, dancing her heart out, or snuggled up with a great book.
