Joshua Carter, DNP, ARNP, strongly believes in the power of trust, collaboration, transparent communication, positivity, and judgment-free listening in delivering high-quality healthcare. He previously worked at Harborview Medical Center, providing care to patients from the most vulnerable populations in our community. Having lived through food and housing insecurity himself, he has seen first-hand how important it is for patients to have equitable access to positive care that acknowledges current and previous traumas, the impacts of racism, and social determinants of health.

His clinical interests include Preventative Medicine across the lifespan, chronic disease management, mental health, patient-centered care, and healthy habits such as diet, exercise, and maintaining positive relationships.
