About John Darnell Lang Jr.
John Lang, Jr., M.D., is a board certified anesthesiologist at UW Medical Center and UW Medicine's director of Operative and Perioperative Operations.
Dr. Lang feels as a physician it is an honor to care for patients and that they entrust their lives to UW Medicine's system of care delivery. His personal philosophy is to ensure delivery of care with compassion, value and innovation.
Dr. Lang earned his M.D. at the American University of the Caribbean. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Lang's clinical and research interests include operating room management, quality measurements, ischemia-reperfusion injury and prevention of lung injury.
