About Jennifer Lynn Azen
Jenn Azen, MD practices Primary Care at UW Kent/Des Moines clinic in a medically and socially complex patient population and manages care transitions in complex young adults. She practices in Adult Family Homes and Assisted Living as part of her primary care practice. She also works with UW Post-Acute Care Service and is a leader in addiction medicine and post-acute care.
She is the Medical Director of the Addiction Medicine Service at the University of Washington and works closely with the transplant teams in supporting patients with substance use disorder.
Personal Interests
Dr. Azen grew up near a small town in central Texas where her family runs a steakhouse. Her father took her on a trip to the Pacific Northwest when she was 17 and she fell in love with the area.
When not working with patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, gardening, and loves watching sports. She has a daughter who is a cancer survivor and a son. Her family understands the power of excellent medical care provided by UW Medicine, Seattle Children’s, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
