About Jeffrey G. Jarvik
Jeffrey G. Jarvik, M.D., M.P.H., is a radiologist at UW Medical Center and a UW professor of Radiology (Neuroradiology) and Neurological Surgery, and an adjunct professor of Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and Pharmacy. Dr. Jarvik earned his M.D. from UC San Diego and his M.P.H. at the UW. He completed both his residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship in neuroradiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars program. Dr. Jarvik's clinical and research interests include the imaging and treatment of patients with low back pain. Other research interests include osteoporotic fractures, comparative effectiveness, pragmatic clinical trials, and health services research.
Personal Interests
When away from medicine, Dr. Jarvik enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
