Janna Gilbert, DNP, ARNP, AGACNP-BC is an acute care advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) and clinical teaching associate in General Surgery at UW Medical Center - Montlake.

Janna specializes in the care of esophageal, gastric, weight loss and hernia surgery patients. She enjoys seeing patients in both the hospital and the clinic to provide continuity of care.

Janna previously worked in general surgery as a bedside registered nurse for 16 years before becoming a nurse practitioner. She is passionate about establishing a connection and providing the best care possible.  Janna enjoys educating patients and their support systems during the perioperative period. Her extensive background in surgical nursing is instrumental in the holistic care of our patients during a potentially stressful time.
