About Iris W. Liou
Iris Liou, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Liver Tumor Clinic at UW Medical Center, a member of the Acute Liver Failure Study Group, a clinical research network funded by the National Institutes of Health and a UW associate professor of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Liou strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Liou earned her M.D. at the UW. She is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Transplant Hematology. Her research interests include acute liver failure, hepatitis B, acute on chronic liver failure, complications of cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma and clinical outcomes following liver transplantation.
