Dr Iskin was phenomenal! They are the first medical provider who discussed birth control options with me without just prescribing something with no say from me. They also gave me resources to review, and answered all my basic questions even when I felt like they were silly or maybe not worth their time.

Dr. Iskin is very thorough in her examinations, I like that she listens to my concerns patiently and proposes preventative interventions first before medical ones.

She was the first doctor Ive had at UW primary care that was interested in pulling all the pieces of info, tests etc to try to get a picture of all my different med issues. She had me do some labs and called me around 6 pm after she saw the results .

Dr. Iskin is such a fantastic doctor. I've never really had a primary care physician that's as caring as her. Usually, I always felt like just another appointment block on others' doctors' schedules, but with Dr. Iskin, I am actually able to collaborate with her about my health plan for the long term.

I've seen several primary care providers over the past couple years. Dr. Iskin had excellent bedside manner, genuinely cared, assured me that she would be working with me to find answers or if that was unattainable, that we would work together to address my symptoms as much as possible. It was a breath of fresh air and I left that appointment with hope for the first time in a long time.

I note that Dr. Iskin has some bad reviews online, but my experience was fine. I particularly appreciated that she responded promptly to an email that I sent late on a Friday, so that I did not have to fret over the weekend before getting a response. I have a minor anxiety disorder, so this was important to me.
