About Habibollah Rahbar
Habibola Rahbar, M.D., is a board certified radiologist, director of Radiology at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and a UW associate professor of Radiology and Breast Imaging.
It is Dr. Rahbar’s goal to identify breast cancer at an early stage so it can be managed optimally and to provide careful explanations of imaging results and recommendations. He believes it is a privilege to provide compassionate and state-of-the art care for patients.
Dr. Rahbar earned his M.D. from the University of Michigan. His research interests include the identification of imaging markers to improve management of early breast cancers such as ductal carcinoma in situ, the use of diffusion weighted imaging to identify and characterize breast cancers, and the identification of MRI markers of breast cancer risk.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Rahbar enjoys skiing, paddle boarding, soccer and history.
