About Francis Kim
Francis Kim, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.P., is board certified physician at the Cardiology Clinic at Harborview and a UW professor of Cardiology Research.
Dr. Kim strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. His research focuses on preventative cardiology and vascular biology.
Dr. Kim earned his M.D. from UC San Francisco. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His clinical interests include general cardiology, preventive cardiology and vascular biology. His research interests include the effects of diabetes/obesity on vascular function, and the use of hypothermia in cardiac arrest resuscitation. Other research interests include endothelial nitric oxide signaling and vascular inflammation, and the role of insulin resistance and obesity in the development of vascular disease.
