Dr Moussavi-Harami stands out to me as exceptionally good at weighing/explaining options and in involving me in decisions. His personable sharing (about his research interests the first visit, comparing sleep study results this visit) makes him very relatable.

About Farid Moussavi-Harami

Farid Moussavi-Harami, MD, is a board certified physician and UW Medicine's John and Cookie Laughlin Endowed Professor in Cardiology and a UW assistant professor of Cardiology and Medicine.

Dr. Moussavi-Harami’s patient care philosophy is to educate patients about their conditions and involve them in making informed choices.

Dr. Moussavi-Harami earned his M.D. at the University of Iowa. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. His research interests include muscle mechanics, finding novel therapies for heart failure, cardiac remodeling, myocyte biology and mechanisms of cardiomyopathies.
