About Eugene Frank May
Eugene May, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained neuro-ophthalmologist. Dr. May takes detailed histories from his patients, reviews their prior medical records and studies, and conducts a detailed physical exam in order to determine the steps needed to diagnose and treat new patients. He follows established patients closely until their medical conditions stabilize.
Dr. May sees adults and children with the entire spectrum of neuro-ophthalmologic disorders. He has a special interest in the neuro-ophthalmologic manifestations of multiple sclerosis and related disorders. He also has a special interest in nystagmus and other eye movement disorders.
Dr. May is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Neurology.
Personal Interests
Dr. May enjoys spending time with his wife and grown children, hiking around the world, and taking care of his shiba inu, Hachiko.
