Emalee Danforth, CNM, MSN, is a certified nurse-midwife at the Women's Health Care Center at UWMC-Roosevelt and a UW teaching associate of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dignity and informed consent are guiding principles of the care Danforth provides. She believes that the best patient care foregrounds patient self-agency and a full understanding of the risks and benefits of available treatment options. She enjoys working with all variations of family, including single women and LGBTQ persons.

Danforth received her graduate midwifery training at the UW School of Nursing. Her clinical and research interests: Third-party reproduction, including donor egg, donor sperm and surrogacy, LGBTQ+ family building, Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), and Menopause care.
