I have seen Dr. Crane about 3 times and feel very reassured meeting with her. She is patient, knowledgeable and informative. Also a shoutout to the physical therapists [...] and [...]-they have helped me come a long way. And [...], who was my in-patient pt, I don't think I would have survived without her wonderful, motivating assistance.

About Deborah A. Crane

Deborah Crane, MD, MPH, is a board certified physician at the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic at Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Dr. Crane is an expert in acute and chronic management of persons with spinal cord injury. She also has a focus in spasticity management. She strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Crane earned her MD and MPH at Tulane University. Her clinical interests include comprehensive care of the patient with acute and chronic spinal cord injury, trauma rehabilitation and spasticity management. Her research interests include health services, epidemiology and outcomes related to secondary conditions of spinal cord injury.

Personal Interests

Dr. Crane loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys running, skiing, kayaking, biking, hiking, swimming and volunteering with various adaptive athletic programs.
