About David J. Horne
David Horne, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Chest Clinic at Harborview and TB Control Program, Seattle and King County Public Health, a UW associate professor of Medicine and Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and an adjunct associate professor of Global Health.
Dr. Horne strives to know patients as individuals and deliver patient care that is aligned with their preferences. He feels it is his responsibility to clearly communicate health information and work to ensure that patients understand their health and treatment options in order to make the best decisions.
Dr. Horne earned his M.D. from UC San Francisco. He is triple board certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care, and Internal Medicine. His clinical and research interests include general pulmonary, critical care, genetic susceptibility to tuberculosis and latent tuberculosis infection, tuberculosis diagnostics and TB and HIV co-infection.

In his free time Dr. Horne enjoys travel, reading, cooking and spending time with family.
