About Daniel B. Martin
Daniel Martin, M.D., is a board certified hematologist oncologist at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Hematology and Medicine. He is also chief medical information officer at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
Dr. Martin believes that active listening is the foundation of a productive physician-patient relationship. He strives to educate patients so that they can make informed decisions about their options, which often include recent scientific advancements that can be integrated into their care plan.
Dr. Martin earned his M.D. at Yale. His academic interests are in use of the electronic medical record in oncology.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Martin enjoys spending time with family, downhill skiing, participating in four-wheeled auto sports and repairing antique clocks.
