About Daniel Lam
Daniel Lam, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Kidney Clinic at Harborview and the Palliative Care Outpatient Clinic at Harborview and the medical director for Palliative Care Services at Harborview. He is also a UW assistant professor of Nephrology and Medicine.
Dr. Lam believes in hearing and understanding each person’s story. He believes it is a tremendous privilege to care for people, and feels that the best care plan is tailored to each person’s goals, values and preferences.
Dr. Lam earned his M.D. at Tufts University. He is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Hospice and Palliative medicine. His clinical and research interests include chronic kidney disease, palliative care in advanced kidney disease, home dialysis and living kidney donation.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Lam enjoys playing basketball, hiking, cooking and traveling.
