About Cynthia E. Fisher

Cynthia Fisher, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and a UW assistant professor of Medicine and Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Fisher believes in actively engaging patients in their care, and is excited at the vast resources available at the UW that allow for continuing treatment advancements for many complicated infectious diseases.

Dr. Fisher earned her M.D. and M.P.H. from Johns Hopkins. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. Her clinical and research interests include infectious diseases following transplantation and infectious diseases in patients with hematologic malignancy, fungal infections following transplantation and the role of infection in organ dysfunction following transplantation.

In her free time Dr. Fisher enjoys hiking, reading, running, backpacking and cooking.
