About Catherine E. Kling
Catherine Kling, MD, MPH, is a board certified surgeon, Associate Program Director for the Abdominal Transplant Fellowship Program, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery.
Dr. Kling’s has extensive training in transplantation surgery and completed an abdominal transplant fellowship at the University of Washington. Her practice encompasses all areas of liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation. SheShe recognizes the life-changing nature of receiving a transplant and strives to help patients restore health so that they can make the best of their life after transplantation.
Dr. Kling research focuses on the outcomes for patients who undergo liver and kidney transplant. She also studies how to maximize the use of organs for transplant, including the use of organs from donors with Hepatitis C.
Personal Interests
In her spare time, Dr. Kling enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, including biking, skiing and traveling.
