Catherine Karr, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified physician at the Pediatric Care Center at UWMC-Roosevelt and the Occupational and Environmental Clinic at Harborview and a UW professor of General Pediatrics and Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences and an adjunct professor of Epidemiology. She has been recognized as a Seattle Magazine Top Doctor.

Dr. Karr enjoys providing guidance and expertise to families with growing children for healthy child growth and development. She is a big believer in an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. 

Dr. Karr earned her M.D. at the UW. She is a recipient of the Presidential Early Career Achievement Award, the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. Government on young science and engineering professionals. Her clinical and research interests include child health and environmental factors such as air pollution and asthma.
