Bethany Pester, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in health psychology and chronic pain. Dr. Pester's patient-centered approach incorporates evidence-based psychological treatments for chronic pain, such as CBT, ACT, EAET, and PRT, while partnering with each patient to understand their unique needs and tailor treatment accordingly. Dr. Pester has clinical expertise in psychosocial assessment and treatment of chronic pain and psychological conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression) in adults. Dr. Pester is also an Acting Assistant Professor, Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at UW Medicine.
