Dr. Rao was amazing! He listened to my concerns and came up with a diagnosis. He was willing to get me in as quick as possible to do the procedure needed for my hand. He was kind, caring, concerned and funny.
Dr Rao is excellent, he takes time to listen, explains what he's going to do (step by step and why he follows this process). The procedure I had done can be very painful, but Dr [...] takes care to make it as painless as possible

*Dr. Rao is wonderful. He is very good at explaining my medical needs. He asks questions and lets me answer them!
I felt like Dr Rao treated me like an elite athlete. I'm not one, but I do difficult [...] like running 50-milers through the wilderness in western Montana. And I'm [...] years old. He seemed to take me seriously that my goals were to keep running like I do and his care was aimed in that direction. He explained my options clearly and was extraordinarily supportive. I left there concerned about my future as a runner, but really cared for in a way that is uncommon in any doctor's office these days.
Dr Rao is phenomenal. I drive from Sequim just to see him. Well worth the 3+ hours travel time.
Dr Rao always explains the process he will use. This visit he had a fellow working with him and he supervised when the fellow performed the procedure on my left knee.
I recommend Ashwin Rao on a regular basis. He has been my doc for a long time and he is the best of the best.
